breathe success at Amino

breathe of Cambridge has just completed a full office refurbishment for Amino in Swavesey. breathe were originally appointed due to a previous working relationship with the client, together with a recommendation from another business associate.

breathe worked closely with the client to shape their vision of the development. Features of the design work included very large desks, due to the need of most staff for more than one P.C. at each of their workstations.

In addition to a complete redesign, breathe overhauled the air conditioning and worked closely with the client in order to project manage the logistics of the operation effectively. The workplace mapping process included re-designing the layout - in order to make much better use of the available space, placing staff by job function, and bringing the working environment up to date.

The climate control systems were paramount to the working conditions of the staff. This was particularly challenging to implement in practice, as the office was converted from a cellular- into an open-plan arrangement.

‘breathe were doing a fantastic job with the brief we set them, so we had no hesitation in approaching them to undertake further work for us – even before the completion of the original project,’ said Stuart Darling of Amino.
